Flip around - Solar panels on one side, OLEDs on the others
Day in and day out, the sun covers our cities in solar energy.
Meidad Marzan, an industrial designer from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem, Israel, has designed a concept device called the UrbanTile that would harness the solar energy city buildings absorb during the day for their lighting needs at night.
What's so special of this?
The UrbanTile is a small solar panel that can be flipped to reveal a light emitting screen.
Banded together into rows, the panels become a window blind that can provide a "screen of light to a room or even as an entertainment display.

UrbanTiles would be able to significantly reduce the amount of energy needed to power skyscrapers at night.
The tiles could also allow buildings to create unique designs like the ones seen below. Try creating abstract art using regular office lights.
Click the link to see the video on it.... its really innovative and gives you the "wow" feeling.
